The only good one I've gotten is the Candle from my very first Shambler.Īm I missing some hidden use for them? Or am I correct that they're very sub-par? I actually haven't even attempted another Shambler since, as most of these 'amazing' trinkets are just garbage with drawbacks as bad as their benefits. So you put a whole party on the line only to come out of it with a useless trinket (and about 8000 gold worth of stress treatments to pay for). But what bothers me is that the Tentacle Idol is a Shambler reward. It wouldnt really bug me as you can just sell them. Third, even when you become afflicted, it's still only a small increase to the vitrue chance (the best being Tentacle Idol's +25%), far from a guarentee. Second, it's far better to take a -stress damage trinket to make it harder to become afflicted in the first place. ![]() Is it just me, or are these trinkets absolutely worthless?įirst, you miss out on a plethora of more useful stats that apply *all the time*, instead of just the rare instance of becoming afflicted. ![]()
